Presentation Day

 So yesterday wasn't all that great to start. I uploaded the wrong link like a doofus and so I had to go last out of everybody which kind of felt as though there was an added layer of expectation hoisted on to me. In spite of this, however, I think everything turned out pretty well. I mean, it didn't turn out poorly should I say. Everybody seemed to like my presentation and thought I was a talented and funny orator which I appreciate hearing. Altogether, I like this assignment and thought it was pretty neat. I'd for sure do something like it again some time. Learning about other people's cultures and life stories is always interesting and gives you plenty of food for thought when it comes to intersectionality and whatnot.

I Want A Husband

 I thought this was a thought-provoking exercise kind of. It was interesting to see how milquetoast and unimaginative everyone's answers ended up being. I myself was kind of lost when it came to ideas on the subject which I think is kind of indicative of how very few societal expectations are placed on fathers when compared to women in a parental role. There wasn't a lot to say in all honesty. That totally blows for women.

A Place I Never Wanted to Leave

 I remember one time I slept on top of my girlfriend's chest. That was bliss, I was so happy. I didn't want to go anywhere. I don't think I've ever felt so comfortable before or since. For the first time in a long while, I was content. I felt completely at ease. I'm too heavy for her, though, so we can't make that a regular fix. What a drag.  We also learned about two Indian cultural traditions in class today. They were both rather minute and disinteresting from my perspective, but I think learning about foreign cultures at all is a net positive, especially for an American like me.
